This policy is part of the Terms of service. "We" means Cutaway Works, which operates ERDism.

1. During the beta

ERDism is in beta and is free. We do not take any payment, so there is nothing to refund.

2. When paid plans start

Paid plans will come after the beta. We will tell workspace owners at least 30 days before any charge begins, by email and inside the service (see section 8 of the Terms of service). Until you choose a paid plan, nothing is charged.

If a reseller (a merchant of record) handles the payment, that reseller is the seller, and its own purchase terms apply alongside this policy.

3. The first 14 days

If you ask within 14 days of the first payment for a workspace's paid plan, we refund that payment in full. This applies once for each workspace, to its first payment — not to renewals or to later changes of plan.

4. After the first 14 days

You can cancel a paid plan at any time. Cancelling stops the next charge. The period you have already paid for stays usable until it ends, and we do not refund part of a period.

There is one exception. If we stop offering ERDism altogether, as section 9 of the Terms of service allows, we refund the part of the period already paid for that falls after the service ends. Ask for it as described in section 8.

Moving to a smaller plan works the same way: it takes effect on your next renewal date, and until then you keep using your current plan. Section 8 of the Terms of service explains how plan changes, renewals and failed payments work.

5. Mistakes on our side

If you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or charged after you cancelled, we correct it whenever you tell us, whatever the date.

6. Your local law

If the law where you live gives you a wider right to cancel or to a refund, that right applies and this policy does not reduce it.

7. What happens to your data

Cancelling a paid plan does not delete anything. The workspace returns to the free plan, and you can still open its projects and export their SQL.

8. How to ask

Email [email protected] from the address you sign in with, and name the workspace.

Once you're signed in, you can also ask from inside ERDism with Send feedback. We reply to your account's address. Name the workspace in your message.
